Meet the Director Kapolei

Jayne Arasaki currently oversees the programs for the six Seagull schools on Oahu as the Director of Operations. She has over 25 years of professional experience working with young children, their families and staff. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Early childhood from the University of Hawai‘i.

Along with her academic acheivements, Jayne also serves on various Childhood Education committees: Chairperson for the Kia ‘i ka ‘ike State Directors Association, P-3 Preschool Transition Teams and Early Learning Groups. She is a trainer for My Teaching Partner Coach and reliable observer for the Class Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and Instructor for the Professional and Career Education for Early Education (PACE) with Honolulu Community College-University of Hawaii. Her enthusiastic conviction as a valuable resource to others solidifies her consideration and passion she holds for working with families and the community.

In her spare time, Jayne cherishes the quality time she has with her family. Jayne and her husband enjoy taking their two Seagull Schools alumni children on scenic adventures.

At Seagull School at Kapolei, Jayne is supported by Didi Au, the Program Director and Galo Camacho, the Office Administrator. Didi works with the teaching staff and has a Child Development Associate and is a Castle Colleagues graduate. Galo Camacho provides the managerial support and holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. The Kapolei school team works together to make a difference for our youngest citizens and families, our future workforce, and builders of Hawai‘i – our beautiful paradise!
